The Spanish guitar allows the performer to reflect mother nature´s beauty through music.The following blog post shows some insights on how to bring together two harmonic instruments of same or different timbres and have both performers be heard with clarity without the need of much amplification.
I am also a strong believer that all performers should have knowledge of improvisation which slowly will allow society to move away from the present western concept of classical music and possibly restore the true value of composition and music.

Flamenco guitar books incorporate complicated descriptions of the patterns we use in it´s styles. I believe the explanation can be simplified as music is only a simple reflection of human emotions.
Flamenco as all styles of music has a specific pulse, a heartbeat that we communicate on and with. La guajira is really a ¾ rhythm and a waltz style of music.

On the 11th of October, 2012, I received a call from the future bride and groom: Phoebe and Andrew. They had been searching for unique entertainment for their wedding and decided to give me a call. They were looking to create a Spanish theme and ambience for their special occasion and to embellish the day with Spanish Music. La Farruca. Flamenco by Spanish Guitarist Tomas Lorenzo
Farruca is a form and style of flamenco music. It may be performed with lyrics ( vocals) and as most flamenco styles in can also be danced to. It is played in 4/4, interpreted at a relative slow tempo and accompanied by melody and harmony defining a minor key.
In the following examples you will see how slow tempos are appropriate for “accelerandos” as a possible method of achieving intensity in the dance and impact on the audience.
It is very common in flamenco to relate styles to certain keys. All styles in theory can be played in all keys . Those keys that allow open strings on the guitar broaden the possibility of expression, rhythm and accompaniment of the spanish guitarist. Please follow the link above to read more on the subject
